My name is Dustin Parulis. I am an IT / Education Professional in Northeast Pennsylvania. I have been in the IT field for almost 10 years and in Education a little over 2 years. I am an IT Program Director for a higher education institution. Not only do I teach IT classes but I also oversee the program, the curriculum , and everything else that goes with it. In addition to being the Program Director, I am also the Online Learning Coordinator which means I am in charge of the online learning for our college.
I never thought I would end up in the Education industry but I wouldn't have it any other way. I am hoping the classes that I take at Boise are going to help me to combine my current skill set with new skills and technologies and to in turn teach my students with all of the resources and information I can acquire while a student.
I have been married for soon to be 4 years and have a 10 month old daughter, Ana, that keeps me extremely busy. I also enjoy cooking, sports and just relaxing with family and friends.
